Death of E. F. Funk In El Paso Area
Funeral services for E. F. Funk 55 of Silver City and Alamogordo were held in Alamogordo after his death Saturday in El Paso Texas following a surgical operation. Born September 30 1874 in Hot Springs County Arkansas he lived 55 years five months eight days. He was an ordained Gospel Baptist minister and a school instructor. He married Rebecca Ross and later Hilda Anderson. children include Lucile Young Roy Funk Wade Funk and Hugo Funk deceased. Survived by two grandchildren and many friends. Burial was at Mount Vista cemetery with Masonic rites.

Mystery Surrounds Finding Of Ruidoso Inn Owner
S. W. Land, owner of the Lone Pine Inn in Ruidoso, was found unconscious on a hillside about two miles from his home after a search by his son Jack. He had last been seen leaving for a walk Wednesday afternoon and was brought home for medical aid with the cause of unconsciousness still a mystery. There was no indication of foul play.

V. M. Bell of High Rolls New Mexico died Thursday morning March 6 after 32 years in the Sacramento mountains. Born 1851 in Johnson County Missouri he married Nettie Garrett in 1869 and had son Emmett G. Bell of Fresno. He lived in Texas before moving to New Mexico in 1898 and was a Church of Christ member for over 40 years. He is survived by his son, his brother John C. Bell who lived with him 44 years, and many friends and relatives. He rest in Mayhill cemetery beside his young grandchildren who he loved dearly and wished to join in the lone rest. Man Held On Felony Charge, Phoenix Police
