The High School Home Economics Department unveils a new look with equipment bought mainly through a school plan at half price and replaced free for five years. New items include two electric ranges a hot water heater a Bendix washer and a Kelvinator refrigerator plus smaller gear and utensils. The department, under Mrs. Jesse Treadaway, aims to meet Smith Hughes standards and support school events including football banquets and laundry training. A public tour and coffee hour are planned March 22 with a Parent Teachers Association session and class visits.
