Last Monday at the courthouse fruit raisers and truck growers from this area and nearby met by invitation. Mr. L. D. Martin of Paso spoke on organizing a local branch of the New Mexico West Texas Fruit and Truck Growers Association. Several locals signed stock and joined. Martin went to Mount Park Tuesday and signed up several more farmers.
