Caterino Luebano Dies After Fatal Accident Near Tularosa
Don Caterino Luebano a longtime Tularosa resident born 1872 in Mexico died from injuries after being hit by a California car near the reservoir east of Tularosa. He succumbed at Alamogordo hospital about 2 a m Saturday. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church in Tularosa. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, three sons, and many grandchildren.

The 48 year old Ivan Pace died at a local hospital after several days with pneumonia. He was a longtime Otero County resident and WWII veteran, survived by his wife and four sisters. Funeral services were held at the local mortuary with Masons and church ministers officiating.
