Big Winter Oats Harvested on La Luz Farm
The Alamogordo Improvement Co harvested winter oats from a 39 acre La Luz tract. Yield reached 76,000 pounds about two tons per acre of first class oats, produced mainly by winter irrigation. Only one irrigation occurred between March 1 and harvest.
