Mr and Mrs Crosby’s Tularosa friends extend congratulations. Mr and Mrs Prude of Mescalero stayed Thursday night in Tularosa on their way to El Paso to see their son who studied in Columbus Mississippi for two years. they returned Sunday night. On Monday the 12th the mail-hauling contract was awarded to Sehor Aguilar for $195 per year. The former mail carrier, known as Cano, has held the contract.

Merchant Bicente Gonzales Dies After Long Illness
Bicente Gonzales, 26, merchant of Tularosa, died at home last Monday after a long illness. He leaves a wife and no children, with a father, mother, two sisters, and one brother surviving. Brother Martin Gonzales also works in the mercantile business there. Funeral was Tuesday at 9 a.m. W K Stalcup, NY Life Insurance agent, filed the application for W. D. Murray, noting Murray has ten brothers and seven sisters. Murray is the blacksmith for Alamogordo Lumber Co.
