Rites Set For Cpl Aleario Torres at La Luz Church
The body of Cpl. Aleario P. Torres, mortally wounded in Palermo Sicily on September 2 1943, will arrive Thursday July 29. Burial rites are planned for 9 a m Saturday July 31 at the Church of Our Lady of the Light La Luz. Alamogordo American Legion and VFW provide escort pallbearers color guard and firing squad. Surviving are his parents a full brother and several half siblings and many Al amogordo relatives.
