New York January 22 C C Pyle announces a 1929 coast to coast foot race from New York to Los Angeles reversing last year route. He targets 250 runners with a 300 entry fee and a $60 000 prize. Training camp opens March 11 at Rockaway Park and a route map plus night control will be set up between New York and Los Angeles. Canada and several European and South American entrants are expected.
