Death of Former Alamogordo Citizen O J Olson
Friends report the death of 87 year old O J Olson at his Southgate California home. Olson and his family moved to Alamogordo from Galveston Texas in 1901, lived there until 1909 or 1910, then moved to El Paso and later California where he ran a restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue among other ventures. He was widely popular locally.

Herbert P Woods youngest son of Mr and Mrs W H Woods Sr died Friday in a head on collision in Chicago while en route to work. He had recently earned a pilot’s license and planned a flying career.
