Bridge Under Construction Bursts Ice Jam Fatalities Near St Louis
December 31 dispatch reports three hundred feet of McKinley bridge falsework across the Mississippi knocked out by an ice jam. Sixty men in the crew of 150 at work were swept into the river. sixty nine drowned, forty rescued by a tug captain and crew after a two hour struggle against six foot high ice jam.

Territorial Educators meet in Roswell for N M Teachers Association visit

Regular teacher certificate exams listed for January dates
