New Governor Hagerman to Take Oath in Santa Fe
Herbert J. Hagerman plans a simple inauguration on Monday January 22 at 2 PM in the Supreme Court chambers with Chief Justice Mills administering the oath. A public reception follows at Palace Hotel from 8 PM to 10 PM and an inaugural ball will be held the same evening. An executive committee led by J W Raynolds organized invitations and tickets priced at 5 per couple for the ball with about 200 tickets available.
