Despite railway exodus the Alamogordo post office reports stronger sales and money orders in late 1906. Stamp receipts for the last quarter of 1906 exceed 1905 by 200 dollars, and December 1906 income beats December 1905 by five dollars daily. Nine months to December 31, 1906 show a three hundred dollar gain over 1905, excluding railway office purchases.
