Jose Gomez deputy sheriff was seriously cut with a knife during a disturbance in Tularosa around 2 o clock Christmas morning and remains in critical condition. Bob Cook, a timber truck operator, was arrested and jailed in Alamogordo. he denies stabbing Gomez. Several men were present and some were intoxicated.
