Jack Lee Dies in Action in South Pacific Area
Mrs. O M Lee received notification that her son Jack Lee was killed in action on November 18. He was co pilot of a plane credited with nine enemy aircraft. He attended Alamogordo High School N M Military Institute and N M A M College Las Cruces and earned his wings at Phoenix. He is survived by two sisters Mrs Kinnison and Mrs Stevens and four brothers O M Jr Curt Don and Vincent.

Cor corporal and Mrs Frank welcome daughter Doris born at the Alamogordo hospital Saturday Dec 12. Mrs Marjorie Dohy, wife of Alex Dohy, treated at the hospital then sent to Wm Beaumont Hospital. Nickey Cuellar, 6, of High Rolls, here for medical care. Mrs Viola Stephenson discharged. Mrs Chas Hepler left hospital for home then returned to Pinon. Willie Wood admitted for several days. Nurses Mrs Edging of Albuquerque and Mrs Gene Payne, both Air Base instructors’ wives, serve as night nurses. Juanita Kemp, nurse and wife of an air base worker, also aids on staff. Ernest Moreno with a broken leg remains, improving. John Counts, 60, is improving.
