The Otero County Teachers Association held a semi annual meeting in Tularosa with a large county turnout. Miss Isabel Eckles and Dr H L Kent delivered principal remarks while Mrs A E Thomas and district superintendents participated. Members elected Mrs George Dixon as president and T C Gentry as secretary treasurer. The next session will be in Alamogordo in late March 1924 and plans began for a county field day with athletic and intellectual contests across all schools.

Prosecution to Open in Veterans Bureau Irregularities Case

Deputy Sheriff Harris stopped a Jewett and a Cadillac roadster east of Tularosa and arrested two men, George Nolan and G M Sanford, and detained Mrs. Sanford.
