Mrs C A Garrett died Tuesday night at 6 30 at her home in Alamogordo after months of illness and strokes. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 30 p m at the residence conducted by Rev Ed LeBreton and Rev Taggart. She leaves her husband, a sister in St Joseph Missouri and two brothers in town.

W H Nicholas 77 of Des Moines died after emergency surgery at the Methodist hospital on Tuesday.
