Death of Juan Calles Pioneer Resident in Alamogordo
Juan Calles, 79, longtime Alamogordo resident, died at his home on Wednesday August 24 1932 from diabetic gangrene. Born September 4 1853 near Fabens Texas he lived in New Mexico about 35 years. He was kin to the Gallegos family and father in law of Mike Jehl.
