Death Of William Potter Wednesday Alamogordo
The death of William Potter occurred at his home in Alamogordo about 7 00 p m Wednesday August 22 after an illness of a little more than two months. He was a longtime municipal employee and a native of Missouri who moved to the Pecos Valley as a young man. He leaves two sons Kenneth and Dudley and a daughter Mrs J L Porter.

Quartet of Boys in Trouble Over Bright Prone
A colored youth told a Bennett truck driver that four Tennessee boys, aged 13 to 18, stole goods and $15 after riding along from El Paso. The group camped at Alamo gordo, then headed to Roswell where officers retrieved them. The truck owner declined prosecution. the youths paid for stolen goods and were released. The colored youth was detained for further investigation.
