Funeral for J. T. Thomanson Held at Local Baptist Church
Funeral services for James Turner Thomason 80 were conducted at the Baptist Church with Rev Barro Keating in charge. He died August 16 in Abilene Texas at his daughter's home after long ill health. Born November 12 1860 in Fulton Kentucky he moved to Burleson Texas at sixteen and later lived in New Mexico and Alamorde. He is survived by six children and seventeen grandchildren with most kin present.

Fatal Accident Claims Former Alamo Woman Thelma Northcutt
Mrs. Thelma Northcutt, formerly of 1101 Ohio Ave Alamo Gordo, died after a gasoline truck crash Sunday near Las Cruces. Her husband Brownie Northcutt drove the vehicle. She passed away at 3:00 pm and was buried at Mescalero? Las Cruces cemetery. Surviving are two daughters aged 12 and 8 and the husband.
