Zuni National Forest expands and shifts acreage
The President signed a proclamation changing the Zuni National Forest by removing 5 219 acres and adding 126 001 acres in Arizona and New Mexico. The Mt Taylor Division totaling 215 601 acres moves from Manzano to Zuni. Adjustments follow a field review showing eliminated land lacking National Forest value and additions consisting of commercial forest and woodland near divisions.
