Otero County Medical Society Meets With Dr Kirkpatrick
The Otero County Medical Society held a Monday gathering with Dr P W Kirkpatrick and several doctors from Alamogordo Mescalero and others. Attendees discussed cases and diseases while Mrs Kirkpatrick provided refreshments. Meetings will move to the first Tuesday each month. Next meeting is at Dr J R Gilbert’s home in September.

J. R. Stuart Dies at 42 After Long Illness
J. R. Stuart died Monday night at 9 53 from stomach cancer in the local hospital. He was 42 and had been ill for a long time. His wife died last June leaving two children who will live with his brother Geo M Stuart of Dallas. Parents live in Terrell Texas. Burial was Tuesday in the city cemetery beside his wife. He was well liked by railway workers where he had labored for years. Burial followed by sympathy for Geo M Stuart who cared for him.
