Tom Bells Masque Ball Draws Big Crowd in Highrolls Pavilion
A large turnout from Alamogordo Cloudcroft Bent Mescalero and surrounding areas attended Tom Bells Masque Ball at the Highrolls pavilion. The Eighth Cavalry Orchestra from Cloudcroft provided a five piece ensemble with violin sax trombone piano and drums. Prizes went to Mrs Bowers as an Indian squaw Mrs W H Woods Jr and Mrs W D Bryars as modern fairies and the host as Bosco the Devil. Supper was by Highrolls Hotel and limited car accidents were reported. A second dance followed with the same orchestra.
