Boy Robbed on Oregon Mountain Left Afoot
A 15 year old boy was robbed of 40 by three men while riding through Oregon Pass. Ira Hickson from Arizona to Carrizozo pursued and helped catch the robbers. Sheriff Denney and Deputy Danley coordinated arrests as officials notified Carrizozo Roswell and Tularosa. The boy was persuaded to continue to Oklahoma while locals reported a gondola left behind.

The case proceeds under the State Breach Act with possible conspiracy charges considered but avoided due to age of defendants.

New Process Converts Skim Milk Into Marketable Poultry Feed
Large quantities of skimmed milk are being turned into a marketable feed by several companies using a Bureau of Dairying process. At Grove City Pennsylvania the product, made under dairymen supervision, sells at 4 cents a pound and 62 cents per hundred pounds of skim milk. The method uses a mixed culture to raise acidity and concentration, yielding a stable paste that feeds baby chicks and hens effectively when diluted or mixed with dry mash.
