Hancock Sunday School Picnic and Community Club Reports
The Hancock township Sunday school picnic occurred at the township hall on September 13 with good attendance and games for children followed by cake and ice cream. Kathleen Duffy enrolled at Briar Cliff College for a two year teachers course, while Norman Weber improves in Omaha hospital and regains feeding ability. The Hancock township community club met September 18, plans monthly meetings through next June, and the county road crews are spreading gravel and repairing shoulders damaged by June rain to ready roads for winter.
