Mr and Mrs Roy Robinson hosted a Sunday pot-luck at their home for Vernon Robinson who leaves Tuesday to be inducted. Guests included numerous local families and relatives. Additional visits included Eldon Smith in Karl Burnight home Thursday and Otis Maynard hosting Jesse Huckett of Columbus Ohio for dinner. Clarence Hummel accompanied Donnie and Lanny Booth to Des Moines for Drake University events.

Delbert and Kathy Prosser were supper guests in the Philip Beaubien home Friday evening. Sammy Burnight met his friend Mike Klauer last week. Lake View Lasares held a special meeting Monday evening at Porter Maynard home to work on their records. Guests included Albert Simons, Roland Metcher family, Francis Mackey family, and Daryl Hunt family. St Joseph School notes report Room III pupils met Friday September 12 at 3:00 pm to elect officers and plan social events for the 52 63 year. Charles Gant nominated Paula Rolfes as temporary chairman.
