Inez Gerf n Tlexe Woods, a CBS Steve Allen singer and Disney Cinderella voice, grew up in Portsmouth N H where she earned eleven dollars weekly for two local programs. She sang on a network show before finishing high school and was then hired by Paul Whiteman. Two Hollywood shows followed, while her husband works as a musical arranger. They have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. Woods got her Cinderella break by helping Disney staff make test records. her attempt was perfect. Loyd Bridges, en route from Rome to Hollywood, passed through New York on a brief stop to promote The Sound of Fury after starring in Three Steps North in Rome.
