Plymouth County group begins fall program at High School Library
The Plymouth County Association for Retarded Children started its fall program October 16 in the High School Library. A two fold aim to aid the retarded child and their parents was discussed as Gordon Mennen presented slides on meeting needs. A committee was appointed to survey the county and address sheltered workshops foster homes and better diagnosis and treatment. Merle Trienen reported on Cherokee Training Center and the group noted a need for retarded youth 16 and up. Refreshments were served by Gordon and Mrs Merinen.
