Elk Point VFW Post 915 and Auxiliary hosted a party at Yankton State Hospital for veteran patients with thirty dozen bar cookies donated by Auxiliary members. The group also presented a program at Regal Manors Nursing Home on Oct 5 with students from local schools and a sing along for residents. The district meeting on Oct 7 featured leaders from Canton Vermillion Spearfish and Jefferson. A cancer gift donated by Bernadette Bernard was won by Emma Giles and the decor featured buddy poppy centerpieces.
