Surprising silver wedding anniversary in Westfield

Mr and Mrs Will Buryanek of Vermillion MD visited Thursday at the Thos Clarey home. About forty friends and neighbors of Mr and Mrs Chas Johnson gave them a surprise Saturday evening in honor of their silver wedding anniversary, they having been married in Sioux City twenty five years ago. The evening was spent at cards and a fine.

Chatsworth Chats Mrs Adams Sr Dies at Home

Mrs. Fred Adams Sr died at her home five miles southwest of Chatsworth on Tuesday morning November 28 1932 following illness with little trouble. She and husband lived on Friday farm for years before moving to a farm in South Dakota. Survived by eight children five sons and three daughters Ray James Claude Fred Jr Arthur Mrs Evan Harris Mrs Will Brest and Mrs Myrtle McCorkell. Funeral arrangements incomplete. Also news of visitors at local homes and a return from an earlier trip.
