Local Cub Scout Meeting Features Tie Tying and Planning
Willing children met in the school hot lunch room on November 19 to discuss pack activities. Attendees included Arthur T Terry W Jerry W Doug B Scott 5 Dennis Ronnie K and Wayne with Diane Small as a visitor. Mrs Swift provided neckties learned to tie and proper folding of neckerchiefs followed. Reporters were Dennis Small and Wayne Von Hagel Johnson Jr Homemakers met November 11 at Judy Netley home with twelve members and two leaders. Marilyn Nannen attended as a visitor as premium money from the County Fair was received and Christmas names drawn. Judy Netley demonstrated My Favorite Cake and preparation for breakfast was presented by Marcene Brown and Pat Geisler. Chett Betaworth spoke on Why Eat Breakfast Julie Luken on The Basic Seven. Lunch was served by the hostess and her mother. Barbara Breitbarth served as reporter with Judy Klemme pro-tem. Appreciations were sent to friends for flowers and visits during hospital stays at Akron and St Joseph Hospitals.
