Married November 28 1925 in Sioux City they farmed in Akron area before moving to Akron in 1967. Rural Home Culture Club Meets At Gerrietts Home
Members of the Rural Home Culture club met at Maxine Gerrietts home at 2 p.m. on Friday November 7. The group opened with the flag salute and club creed, sang the Star Spangled Banner, and read minutes with the treasurer’s report. 45 members answered roll call with state of colony and date of union. The club plans to serve coffee at the Community Input meeting on December 3 and will host a Christmas luncheon December 5 at Ramona Weenink’s home. Members are asked to bring gifts for Mental Health patients and to exchange homemade gifts.
