Portland Pals 4-H Club Hosts Colors and Fabrics Talk

Portland Pals met at Florence Papritz home on November 8. Mrs Westadt spoke on colors and fabrics. Sharon Lehmann and Sandra Kehoe joined. seven members joined the 4-H Club Reading program. A Christmas Party at Judy Dirks on December 6 was planned. members asked to bring a gift.

Restive Kenny Fietcher celebrated his sixth birthday Sunday with family. Neighbors and relatives including Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Gale Robinson and Sharon visited Mrs. Neal Skogsberg near Elk Point. Numerous local residents attended church events and visits, and the community extended sympathy to Mrs. Floyd Fletcher on the death of her father Dalit Ballinger near Elk Point.
