Westfield Club Notes and School Board Actions
Westfield Tuesday Club met at Vera Ross home on Wednesday November 9 with nine members. They planned gifts for Cherokee Mental Health Institute and discussed educational opportunities at Sioux City Air Base. The school board reported Thanksgiving vacation November 24-25 and approved purchasing a burner assembly for 1235 dollars, radiator checks, extended hours for Mats Boetger, and bus transportation arrangements. Scholarships totaling 1750 dollars will be awarded to top national winners. applications due March 15 1967. National results announced at 1967 convention in New Orleans.
