Duraduck decoy creator turns tool into toy for all

Joe Newhardt of Danville Illinois devised the Duraduck a rubber roll up decoy for duck hunting that can be pocket sized. Self inflating and unsinkable the decoys ride like real ducks thanks to a concave bottom and suction cup effect. The idea spawned a growing demand from hunters children and naturalists leading to mass production in Cambridge Massachusetts and Newhardt now eyes broader uses and the trap of better ideas.

Fishy odor from water weeds and how to remove it

Beginners taste notes say fish from weedy water carry a fishy odor due to vegetation in the water.
