Earl Sylvester of Harrington elected head of Delaware American Legion for 1925 28 after service in US Navy from 1917 to 1919. Charter member and longtime officer of Harrington post No 7, he also chaired the $5,000,000 endowment drive for disabled veterans and orphans. Activities of Fidac During the Past Year

Fidac reports progress in giving former WWI service men a voice in peace and war matters at Geneva and worldwide. It notes expanded cooperation with the League of Nations, addition of a women’s auxiliary and new member associations, and efforts to gauge public opinion in allied and former enemy nations after von Hindenburg’s election. Four veterans’ groups from France and Poland joined, totaling 590,000 members. Plans for a women’s auxiliary to Fidac occupied much of the year.

Deeds 160 Acre Farm to American Legionnaires
