Iowa meeting set for retarded children convention
The twelfth annual Iowa Association for Retarded Children convention is scheduled for June 13 and 14 at State College of Iowa Cedar Falls. More than 400 delegates from 86 units will attend with theme Now What. Eminent educators and psychologists will discuss aiding mentally retarded children toward useful, happy lives including workshops on community effort and training. Tours of a sheltered workshop and a foster home are on the schedule. Sunday will feature a business meeting officer installation and an Awards luncheon with Milton Huneke of Burlington presiding.
