Border raid kills three soldiers in Glenn Springs clash

A band of about seventy five Mexican bandits crossed the Rio Grande near Terlingua Texas and attacked a temporary American patrol near Glenn Springs. Seven were killed including three U S soldiers and several wounded as Maj Meyers reports. The attack followed hopes for a joint conference with Mexican officials but revealed strain in the cross border situation.

Fire destroys Fort Dodge factory and plant
