Nation to fund 31 Language Centers for 1960 61
U S Commissioner of Education Lawrence G Derthick announced federal funds under Title VI of the National Defense Education Act will support 31 Language and Area Centers in 1960 61. Buy a License for Fishing and Hunting Now

Price Support Rates for 1960 Crops Declared
Ralph Smith, chairman of the Union County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation committee, announced that 1960 crop seed grains will carry the same price support rates as 1959. The national average supports are 77 cents per bushel for barley, 1.52 per cwt for grain sorghum, 60 cents per bushel for oats, and 1.06 per bushel for corn, with corn set to be 5 cents lower than last year.
