Marvin Baldwin of Akron hauled hogs and cattle to Sioux City for Thos Dreeszen Tuesday evening. Nelson Brown sold cattle at the Sioux City market Thursday. Thos Friseh has been ill the past week. Mr and Mrs Richard Tindall of Liberty and Mr and Mrs Everett Orr were supper guests at the Dreeszen home last Thursday. Frank Thomas of Newcastle Nebraska and Leone Zellers of Sioux City spent the weekend with the Zell ers. Dreeszen will lead Christian Endeavor services Sunday evening on What Has Jesus Done for Us. Election for sub director at Adaville school held Monday morning Grant Brown reelected. Prayer meeting Wednesday evening at H A Johnson home. Easter pageant practice ongoing.

Mrs August Meske is a patient at Sacred Heart hospital LeMars. Trinity Lutheran Aid Society of Akron redecorated their house during her absence. The Meske family moved into the community a month ago. Frank Rubbert of Marcus was a caller Tuesday. The 4 H club of Westfield township met at Harvey Taylor s. Girls learned to crochet tugs and Mrs Van Wylie served lunch. At a joint Farmers Union and Farm Holiday meeting in Merrill Sam Mosher and Larry Webber were elected delegates to the governors meeting in Des Moines. Washington township had a fine program. ladies served lunch. Mr and Mrs Reuben Hines and Mr and Mrs H B Morehead were Sioux City shoppers Tuesday.
