Special correspondence from Westfield notes Roger Banks as the new rural mail carrier with Al bert Hummel as substitute. Westfield women attend World Day of Prayer in Elk Point with 64 present from 11 churches. Mrs. Sanna Lenters of Mayflower church in Sioux City was principal speaker on Bread of Life. A 1898 historical note recalls Westfield women organizing a church-building society.
