The filmstrip Council of Nicaea will be shown March 14 at 10:15 am during Sunday school at the Congregational church. Temperatures in the 30s melted recent snows, easing spring farming prospects. The Westfield School Committee will not meet on the third Thursday. instead March 19 will feature a public meeting on school organization. The Westfield PTA plans Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit on March 26-27 in three quarter arena staging with a wide cast. Admission 75c adults, 25c children. Congregational Ladies Aid meets March 18 at 2 pm with Eva Knapp, devotions on Africa, and missionaries.

Eight hundred attendees enjoyed pre program acts, booths, games, food stands, and a jail complete with deputies.
