Obituary of Mrs. Anna M Oaks of Westfield dies at 73

Mrs Anna M Oaks formerly of Westfield died February 27 1957 at Panska Nursing Home Hawarden after an extended illness at age 73 years 7 months 1 day Born July 26 1884 in LeMars Iowa she lived in Plymouth County all her life She married Walter E Oaks January 14 1903 and had seven children Survived by three daughters Velma Kroksh Florence Boyd Gertrude Waterbury and two sons Alvin and Louis along with eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren She was predeceased by her husband February 3 1957 and two children One infant and a daughter Vivian aged 26 who died December 28 1942

Obituary: Westfield Woman Laid To Rest In Pleasant Valley

Funeral services were held last Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Westfield Congregational Church with Rev. Paul Willama of Hawarden officiating. Pallbearers included John Martin Tom Martin Louis Conway Albert Hammel Alfred Hawks and J F McVay. Burial followed in Pleasant Valley Cemetery Adaville.
