Miss Teenage America to Speak at Des Moines Breakfast
Judy Doll of Navarre Ohio aged 17 and Miss Teenage America 1964 will be a featured speaker March 12 at the 33rd annual breakfast for Iowa Girls High School State Basketball tournament finalists in Des Moines. More than 300 people from 16 finalist teams attend. Doll will discuss traffic safety and seat belt use. The appearance is coordinated with Ford Motor Company Lincoln Mercury Division, where she serves as Youth Safety Spokesman. She earned her title in Dallas last November and will reference safety demonstrations seen at Ford Dearborn proving grounds. The breakfast is sponsored by the Retail Merchants Bureau of the Greater Des Moines Chamber of Commerce.
