County Rural Eighth Grade Graduation Exercises
The Plymouth County Rural Eighth Grade Promotion Exercises were held in the LeMars high school auditorium on Wednesday evening May 31 for a class of 49 graduates. The program included speeches, musical selections, a patriotic drill, and the presentation of diplomas and honors. The top fifteen percent honored students were Bill A. Cassity, Katherine Maree Heider, Wayne Nicholas Bohlke, Mary Frances Stoffel, Thomas Joseph Dalton, Robert Lee Treinen, and Norrine Susan Bohlke.

Hadacol sales reach 5 million bottles in short period
Senator Dudley J. LeBlanc, founder of The LeBlanc Corporation of Lafayette Louisiana, said HADACOL shipments totaled five million bottles since January 1. He noted production could not keep up as demand grows, aided by the Souths heavy newspaper schedule.
