A dream becomes a reality as Park Forest Illinois grows from 2400 acres of farmland into an incoporated village of about 13 000 residents with mass housing shopping schools churches a hospital and an industrial area. The master plan by Philip Klutznick and Nathan Manilow features 3010 rental units 26 stores eight schools eight churches and a large market with an advanced checkout system. Located 45 minutes by train from Chicago the village aims for 30 000 residents with widespread amenities and a smoke free gas heated environment.
