Ada Kinser Featured Resident Of June At Local Home
Ada Kinser born May 21 1883 in Philadelphia grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University. She taught PE in Sioux Falls South Dakota raised a son Pierson with husband Clyde Kinser and actively contributed to WCTU Baptist Church Federated Club Book and Thimble and PEO in Akron. Noted as an avid scrapbook collector she cared for a formal garden and is a resident for ten years entertaining others with hymns at the piano. Memorial Day gatherings and visits from friends marked a busy week at the home.

Rites held Saturday for Mark Kamradt
Mark L. Kamradt 21 of McCook Lake died May 30 at a Sioux City hospital from a massive brain injury suffered in a May 2 motorcycle crash in Sioux City. Services were at Riverside Lutheran Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery Akron. He worked for United Packing of Iowa and belonged to Local P1280 Amalgamated Meat Cutters. He was a Riverside High School 1971 graduate, married Ellen Swift March 2 1973 in North Sioux City. Survivors include his wife, parents, two brothers Jerry and Danny, plus maternal and paternal grandparents.
