Friends and relatives of 18 Plymouth County residents established Living memorials in the past year. The contributions were given to the Iowa Division of the American Cancer Society to combat cancer, the second leading killer of Iowans. Cancer memorials total over 11,000 departed Iowans and continue at about 150 per month.
