Akron Minislater Association Meeting Plans for Months Ahead

Akron Minislaters Association held a Tuesday forenoon meeting approving plans for the coming months. Proposals include entering a float in the Akron Diamond Jubilee parade, changing church night from Wednesday to Thursday, starting senior released time mornings, hosting a teachers reception, appointing Guinn and Meyer to submit RIAS Emphasis plans, and advertising KLEM radio speakers. Next meeting set for September 2 with pastors Guinn Meyer Musser and Roy attending.

Final Summons Comes Mrs Claus Kruse of Grant Township

Mrs Claus Kruse of Grant Township died July 18 after an extended illness at age 46. Born August 28 1910 she lived in Plymouth County and married Claus Kruse November 29 1984. Survived by husband daughter Dorothy Ann mother Mrs G Weaters sister and brother. Funeral services were held at St Johns Lutheran Preston Township with Rev Dirks officiating. Interment in church cemetery.
