Don Alfredo and Sierra Indians Raid at SoCal Rancho

Don Alfredo, a wealthy Spanish rancho owner in Southern California, ignores warnings of a raid by Sierra Indians. After deciding to seek mission protection for his wife and daughters, the attack comes. Alfredo dies as the daughters are seized from the maid Monica, and Padre Pasqual, a missionary friend, reaches the ruined ranch.
