Wayne Lilly underwent surgery Saturday morning at Akron Community Hospital and is reported improving. Tuesday Club met at Mrs. George Main’s home. Ladies' Aid was hosted by Mrs. Evelyn Banks at her mother Mrs. Mabel Lilly’s residence. Mrs. Harry Bernhardt and relatives visited a son in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mrs. Bernhardt attended her uncle William Harding’s funeral in Akron and then joined her husband due to his blood clot. Mr. and Mrs. George Hummel visited their daughter-in-law in Sioux City. Several local families were mentioned on weekend travel and visits including Lyle McInnis’ birthday gathering with relatives in Sioux City, and Don Langle arriving from the Navy for a short leave after his grandfather’s death. Philip Van Vleck entered St. Vincent hospital.
